| Amrithavarshini Muralikrishnan started playing the instrument under the tutelage of her Father and Guru Shri N. Muralikrishnan a Vina player and Keyboard Maestro at the tender age of two. She accompanied her father N. Muralikrishnan and mother Rose Muralikrishnan on all their concerts & tours from her childhood. |

| History of Carnatic Music portrays that there were several music personalities in the introduction of western instrument in the field of Carnatic music such as Baluswami Dikshitar for Violin, U. Srinivas for Mandolin, Kadiri Gopinath for Saxophone, A.K.C. Natarajan for Clarinet and so forth. Now there is yet another young musician Amrithavarshini is in great align with the introduction of another western musical instrument the keyboard in the field of classical Carnatic music. |
